Street artist and photographer, JR, has won the 2011 TED Prize, today. Past recipients include Bill Clinton, Bono, and James Nachtwey. 
JR calls the streets his gallery, displaying building sized (and sometimes even bigger) portraits of the cities’ inhabitants. He’s showed from slums in Brazil to villages in Switzerland.
